Revamping of biogas plants for the production of biomethane

The plant, which underwent a revamp, has been converted from biogas production to the production of biomethane for injection into the grid. The works involved the construction of new gas holders, the installation of an SBR system to remove nitrogen from the digestate and to upgrade the gas, and the installation of a new biogas line with an emergency flare.
