Synergy’s nitro-denitro plant, applicable both on digestate and livestock manure, is able to break down up to 70-80% of total nitrogen through a nitrification and subsequent denitrification process.
Our innovative system uses external reactors in which liquid is atomised and microbubbles of compressed air are insufflated. This gives the system greater efficiency in oxygenation, making maintenance quicker and easier.
Synergy is able to develop SBR purification plants, i.e. biological treatment systems (activated sludge) consisting of a tank in which biological oxidation and sedimentation processes take place. Purified effluent and surplus sludge can be extracted through such systems.
In the SBR plant, the flow is discontinuous with programmed sequential phases, and the two main functions of the activated sludge process, biological oxidation and final sedimentation, take place in the same compartment.
