Development and construction of a 250 kWe biogas plant
The SYNERGY team, in cooperation with METHODO and SWITCH, part of the BIOMETHANE INDUSTRY group, is completing the revamping of a 250 kWe biogas plant for the production of 250 Smc/h of Biomethane, intended to be fed into the grid.
The plant, which will be managed by the agricultural company ‘Le Rebusche’ of Pralboino (BS), will be powered by renewable energy sources. Planned interventions include: the installation of new pre-tanks to feed the digesters, the upgrading of the anaerobic biomass digestion units, in mesophilic regime, for the production of biogas, and the upgrading of the digestate storage tanks. In addition, a new nitro-denitro treatment tank will be built.
The project also includes the installation of a desulphurisation tower for Biogas pre-treatment, an upgrading unit for refining Biogas into Biomethane, and a new compression unit for feeding Biomethane into the grid.
