Development and construction of a 100 kWe biogas plant
This 100 kWe biogas plant represents the smallest size of plant built by Synergy. Throughout the year, the power of the plant is only reached by the cattle slurry produced by the adjacent cowshed.
Being a small-scale plant, it was necessary to minimise energy consumption. For this purpose, a single, low-consumption progressive cavity pump was implemented, which performs both the loading of the fermenter and the discharge via an automatic valve system.
